Carrie's family has more birthday's in October than 'Carter's got pills?' or 'dogs have fleas?" or whatever. Of course there was Zephyr's, but his cousin Colton had his day two days earlier; yesterday was Carrie's; her brother James, and his wife Elizabeth (Colton's folks) and Elizabeth's sister and Lois' sister ... and on and on and on...
so yesterday was Carrie's day - Bud prepares the "meal of choice" for the kids - Carrie had steak bernaisse(sp?) with mashed potatoes and asparagus and a brownie and ice cream for desert. what a tasty meal. Went over to Bud and Lois' for the meal. No pics - but it looked wonderful! James' family was there also.
today - since K did such a great job on the space aliens party favors, she gets to bake cupcakes for Z's big party tomorrow. Don't know what that entails, yet.
we've been celebrating all week - we brought Carrie a "snow Globe" of Portland from the Oregon Shop - that was fun.
Watching Z and his cousin Colton - "COLKE! COLKE!" - is a hoot.

one more thing - Z often says "he-cop" (for 'helicopter') and we found out why. Micah has a RC helicopter that truly fascinates the Z-man; so Z got a toy he-cop from his folks. He was in his glory!
that's about it from here today - have to go get the ingredients for C-cakes and off to M&C's for baking. Big party is tomorrow - and Kristi gets here today/tonight sometime. Will be great fun.
