though it got to 80, didn't turn the air conditioning on today - fans and windows did their thing.
worked on the text for Sunday - Greed: story of the guy who "'thought to himself' I shall build bigger barns." discovered a bit of wisdom in Middle Eastern culture ... the phrase 't-t-h' means he had no community to surround himself - he's so caught up in himself he becomes 'mind-less' - thus a fool! was a neat insight - and a whole "point" to a sermon - now it won't be pointless :). even after 35 years in the pulpit, am still learning sumptin' new.
Karina is making her famous KLWpizza tonight - pressing the dough, working the spices, emanating the aroma ... yum!
Kristi headed south on her road-trip to see June in Roseburg; sounds like no golf this trip ... winery tours instead. even put my my order for Melrose Riesling - the best in the world! (imho)
getting closer to our Germany flight ... gonna be exciting! planning to take the Netbook along and do daily updates, though don't know how easily it will be to upload to the internet. if you want to invite others to follow along, please do so - I'm not sure how to go about that. anyway - we leave a week from Saturday - the 7th.
