so here is day 2:

thanking all my blog-followers for their encouraging words ... makes one feel energized!

getting ready for Sunday ... "Martha, Martha ..." by the way did you know 'Martha' means "lady of the house"??? the folks at POP will learn that this weekend - unless, of course, they all take a hankerin' to my blogsite. guess then I wouldn't have to mention it. oh my ... gotta stay flexible. we're still tired (in a good sense) from all the travelin' and talkin' we did with the fam here last week.

someone once told me that marionberry (not the former mayor, yadda yadda) pie, when purchased outside of orygun, can barely hold a candle to the pies made from the back yard berries! besides, I picked another huge bunch last nite. this paragraph will make sense to most, if not all, of my blog-followers.

the old clock on the wall says 2:15 - but what else is new - it always says that ... it has't run for years, so at least it's right twice a day.

g'nite, now.

and goodnight Mr. Calabash, whatever you are!

  1. Well, it is now 6:46 and Karina is movin' around, but you are still sound asleep after bloggin' so late!!??

We'll have to listen to "Martha" when we get home...which 'may' be late tonight - depending on any side trips we may or may not take. Sounds like a HOT day on the high plains or wherever we happen to be.

Yes, we know this piece of pie will not even hold a candle to the pies from your kitchen/garden...but it is the best we could do to prolong the delectable memory of 'marion'

The car is 1/2 packed....the driver is proof reading as I type. I'd better close and let it go at this....at least you'll have sumptin' to read when you finally wake up!
