6, can you believe it?

once again I'm at the helm. since marionberries seemed to be a topic of worth, I had to show off our crop ...

makes us feel proud!

oh, a a few words from the muffin baker ...

and wouldn't you know, I'm going crazy with the blog stuff - bought a netbook to take along with us to Europe! even composing on it as we speak.

Several people will be interested to know that a garden planted after the first week in June can still prosper! Here's living proof!

am trying some new things, as per my blog followers instructions. we'll see how the additions work out. how do you get the pics to go where you want them the first time? I click where I think they oughta go, but they add themselves at the beginning of the blog, so I have to move them in html mode.

nuf for now. g'nite.

  1. Mark suspects you purchased the netbook from Woot as he saw it one available...but perhaps since you are using it already, that would be impossible. Mark's enjoying Woot and is now an avid follower.

The garden appears to have grown since we were there. The marionberries are still bearing - and they look beautiful. I pulled my onions yesterday but I'm afraid maybe I pulled them too early. I guess I'll find out. I'm not the experienced vegetable gardener that Rhoda is.

  2. Please ask the muffin lady about her recipe: It calls for 1 'cube' of margarine. Is a cube a stick (1/2 cup)?
